Sarah Darker

I am a twenty one year old college student and I am also the proud owner of an ex point to pointer and an Irish Draught cross foal. I have grown up around horses and hunted from a young age. My childhood was spent racing around the forests at home, challenging my sister to jump-offs and figuring out how I could avoid doing flatwork and the “serious stuff”. I’m not an expert, nor do I pretend to be. Instead, I want to take people on my journey to learning more about my horses and how to unlock their full potential - now including the aforementioned flatwork. I want to increase the visibility of our grassroots riders and amatuer enthusiasts and hopefully encourage people who are returning to or starting out with our sport. There is so much to learn and I plan to try to ask lots of questions, hopefully come up with a few answers and keep you up to date with the thrills and spills that come with owning horses. We are just getting started.
