In November 2023, McNulty embarked on a new chapter by purchasing Dionysus II, a 10-year-old British Warmblood. One of the most exciting objectives is to make the Irish Nations team and represent Ireland in the UK towards the end of August into September as a senior rider. “Myself and Dionysus will campaign as much as we can this year to reach that goal,” McNulty explains. Starting at Medium level—a new level for Dionysus—they plan to climb the ranks swiftly, showcasing the potential that has been gestating during McNulty’s time away from competitive riding.

Expanding the Team

The acquisition of Dionysus II is just the beginning. McNulty eagerly anticipates the arrival of a string of talented dressage horses, including Dionysus’ full sister, currently at PSG level.
