Outside your Comfort Zone

We are just under a week away from one of the biggest moments in the grassroots gazette history since we launched the gazette on the 2nd of December 2021.

We have been ground breaking from day one at the gazette and will continue to do this every step of the way, bring our stamp to Equine media. From our very first live livestreams to countless amazing articles. We continue to push ourselves that little more. Watching as others have followed, it’s a great compliment when you see other brands following our leads on how we do content and media.

As the title says we are out of our comfort zone with the riders academy but you have to welcome that because without been brave enough to step outside your comfort zone you will never grow as a person or a brand.

Personally I know am completely out of my comfort zone been a co host on a series that’s going to receive over 1 million views across all platforms but like the wonderful riders lucky enough to be selected for this amazing experience of season 1 of the grassroots riders academy I’ll be nervous and excited all in one.

If you asked me in January 2022 if would ever do anything like this I would have laughed so hard my sides would spilt but here I am less than a week away from hosting the biggest equestrian series Ireland has seen.

I have spoken to all the riders taken part in the series and the one thing I have said to them all is be proud of what you have achieved so far, getting to this point from over 1000 entries to be apart of the 5 finalists is something special. The opportunity to work with some of the best coaches and riders in the world is not something that happens everyday.

This also goes to all of us here from The Grassroots Gazette and Equitas, we all need to be proud of ourselves. I know that am extremely proud of our achievements so far. The long nights and countless meetings to get to this point but this will be an amazing feeling on day 1 in sleighduff equestrian.

One thing that was said to me when I first started with horses was sit tight and kick on, how true is this right now. So like the riders all of us with the grassroots gazette we will be sitting tight and kicking on to what’s going to be an amazing experience for us all.
