The Grassroots Rider Academy: Ushering in a New Era of Excellence in the Equine Industry

The equine industry is about to witness a monumental and groundbreaking new chapter with the launch of the Grassroots Riders Academy. This dynamic and inclusive series is set to revolutionise the way grassroots talent is nurtured, providing a supportive environment for riders to develop their fundamental horsemanship skills, competitive techniques, personal growth, and media skills.

At the Grassroots Riders Academy, riders will have access to expert coaching, hands-on experience, and a state-of-the-art venue, empowering them to excel in their equestrian journey. This first-of-its-kind academy aims to bridge the gap between aspiring riders and their dreams, offering a comprehensive curriculum designed to accelerate learning and success.

“Our vision with the Grassroots Riders Academy is to create an inclusive and empowering space for riders to cultivate their skills and achieve their goals,” said Muireann O’Toole Brennan, Head of Media at Equitas. “We strongly believe that by focusing on fundamental horsemanship, competitive techniques, personal development, and media skills, we can unlock the full potential of grassroots riders and propel them towards success.”

The highlight of this groundbreaking initiative is the launch of a first-of-its-kind 7 Part Educational Series for Equestrians. The goal behind this series is to bring together grassroots riders and world-class coaches in a bootcamp-style environment that will accelerate their learning and success. Produced by The Grassroots Gazette in partnership with Equitas, this series promises to be a game-changer for riders seeking to take their skills to new heights.

This series is set to revolutionise the way educational content is delivered to riders, creating a bootcamp-style environment where world-class coaches will engage with grassroots riders to foster accelerated learning and skill development.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Equitas to bring this unique Educational Series to the equestrian community,” said Gary Monahan, Head of Community at The Grassroots Gazette and one of the hosts of the Academy. “Through this series, riders will have the opportunity to learn from top coaches in a transformative environment, gaining the knowledge and expertise necessary to elevate their performance.”

“We are extremely excited to be involved in Ireland’s first GRG Rider Academy. The Grassroots community are the foundation and backbone of the equestrian industry and this is a phenomenal training opportunity for them.” said Sarah Elebert, Spokesperson at Equitas. “With the top level coaches being made available to the successful riders of the Grassroots Rider Academy, we are really looking forward to seeing them take the next steps towards achieving their goals..”

The Grassroots Riders Academy and the 7-Part Educational Series for Equestrians will mark a paradigm shift in the way riders are trained and supported. It will serve as a catalyst for growth within the grassroots community, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation through the launch of a range of series like this.

The Grassroots Riders Academy has garnered immense support and excitement within the equestrian community. “I am absolutely thrilled that Lucinda Fredericks will be joining us for the Grassroots Rider Academy,” said Sadhbh Kelleher, one of the hosts of the new grassroots academy series. “Her ability to provide confidence and support to riders, no matter what their level, makes me truly excited for the learning experience the lucky 5 riders will receive.”
