Hi everyone, I’m Eloïse McNeely, I’m a teacher in Kildare and this is my best friend Poppy.
She’s 18 years young, no breeding recorded.
She is my first horse, I bought her with my first ever pay check 12 years ago. I truly believe that she is the kindest, most gentle horse. She has been with me through good times and bad, a constant source of unconditional love and companionship. We have tried our hand at everything but dressage seemed to be our thing. I’ve learned a lot from her over the years of owning her and I know that she is worth her weight in gold, to me anyways. She is a real minder.
Poppy as she goes by stable name, absolutely loves getting pampered and dolled up for a show. A proper dressage diva as they say. Her competition name is Glenmullen Zelda.
She adores being the centre of attention, getting into a selfie and was even a bridesmaid at my wedding! Our goal this year is to compete at Novice Level dressage and most importantly, just have fun.
